ABOUT US

The Sebastian Hunter Memorial Trust was founded in memory of the late Sebastian Hunter- a boy who died at 18 before he had the chance to live his dreams.

Seb's family created the trust to ensure that, whilst Seb never had the chance, the millions of children in India that are prevented from living their own dreams due to poverty get a chance to.

Today, hundreds of people have joined to share our dream- from bereaved parents and social workers, to teachers wishing to share their skills and volunteers coming out to our projects to use their own skills to make our projects a success.

At the Sebastian Hunter Memorial Trust we believe that education is the greatest tool to relieve poverty and help people reach their potential. We also know that for a child to have a healthy upbringing and a good education, their family must have sufficient livelihood and healthcare to stop malnutrition and economic insecurity getting in the way.

Today, we have a team of 12  staff in our Seb's Projects India office, working hard to identify the places most in need of our help and rolling out projects that really do make a difference.

We are always looking for volunteers and interns, both within and outside India, to help make our projects the best that they can be. If you would like to join us, please get in touch
