Volunteering:

 

If you have some time to spare and want to make a difference in someone's life, then we have plenty of ways to do it! Contact us if you would like to...
 

  • visit tribal patients in hospital in Vellore

  • help run early learning activities in mother and child care centres

  • research and develop health education sessions addressing health problems in the communities we work with

  • fundraise to support the HEAL program

Providing healthcare to remote communities has a wealth of challenges and the needs are infinite! You can help us reach those most in need by making a one off donation. Your support will go to the following projects:

1000 rupees (10 GBP) will pay for a mother and child care volunteer to monitor health of their community for one month in a tribal village where we have no Balwadi

 

4000 rupees (40 GBP) will pay for 1 Balwadi Teacher (mother and child care centre) for a month

 

5000 rupees (50 GBP) will pay for play materials for 1 year in one of our mother and child care centres

 

40000 rupees (400 GBP) will pay for Nurse Assistant training for a tribal young person for a year

 

50000 rupees (500 GBP) will pay for a pump and pipelines to be installed for a community so that they can access clean drinking water in their village

 

300000 rupees will pay to set up a mother and child care centre, providing early learning activities, health monitoring and support, and nutrition supplements for an entire community
