Take nothing but photographs, leave nothing but footprints. 



This old saying certainly rings true with the Eco trail, as we ask our participants to do just this. However we also aim for all participants to leave with something a little more than photographs. An emphasis is placed on a shared understanding, and a mutual appreciation of differing livelihoods. If all the people of the world had a better understanding of each other, and through that understating obtained empathy, the children of the future may ask their parents, 'Mummy, Daddy, what was war?'



The more clearly we focus our attention on the wonders and realities of the universe about us, the less taste we shall have for destruction
